In link picture black pic is parent node(CC3PlaneNode) sub nodes are labels, userIcons.

It should be added to the descriptions that when you're making a joystick without a background, you must make sure the size of the object is greater than the size of the thumb. This may seem obvious but wasn't to me, and if the size is wrong, the joystick thumb will simply disappear, and the velocity vector will report NaNs.

Hi Loz...

That looks amazing!

Would you be interested in allowing your class to be included in the <strong>cocos3d</strong> distribution? We'd include contribution recognition in the source code, of course.

If so, please email the code to support@brenwill.com, and I'll work it into a future release.

Thanks...

Hi Bill,

Thanks for Cocos3D.

I'm in the throws of writing a new game and needed a realistic water surface that things are going to drop into, so in a few hours threw together a generic class to do the job.

A screen capture from the iPad emulator can be found at http://www.stigmergygames.com/qt/index.html , on the real device it runs very fast, the sample video shows the water being deformed as if you've dropped something into it...

Thanks again for all your hard work in producing Cocos3D.

Best Regards
Loz

OK cool, thanks for the quick answer.
Oh one more thing I bumped against: OpenGL profiling with Instruments doesn't work for some reason, the app dies as soon as it's started by Instruments. I have no clue why though.

Thanks for this awesome framework!
